Darkness looms,
I feel light.
My heart races,
As I start this flight.
The sky lights,
As lightning starts to fall.
Let's get on,
With this Midnight Ball.
We all dance,
In slow circles.
In gowns,
Of many purples.
There are no gestures,
And no lies.
We all dance,
As giant pies.
But we are not,
These articles.
Instead we are made,
Of different particles.
We dance on,
Swishing bushy tails.
We know we did not get them,
Through via mails.
We know it doesn't make sense,

As we press close,
Against our lovers.
I look into her eyes,
What a sight!
They twinkle like the stars,
